If you are a company director and you found this page because you were contacted by someone who bought a list, this explains what we hold, where we got it, and how to have it taken out. That takes one email and we do not ask you to justify it.

If you are a director of a UK company registered recently, we are likely to hold your name, your role, the date you were appointed, your nationality, and the company's own details: its name, number, registered office, incorporation date and what it does.
In some cases we also hold a business email address for the company, and the website we found it on. That is personal data when it identifies you, for example firstname@yourcompany.co.uk.
We do not hold your date of birth, your residential address, or anything about you outside your role as a company officer. We do not build a profile of you, score you, or track you.
Your name and role come from the Companies House public register, which publishes them under the Companies Act 2006 so that the public can see who is behind a company. We use the free bulk data product and the public API, both under the Open Government Licence v3.0, which permits commercial re-use. The snapshot behind this site is dated 1 September 2026.
Any email address we hold was published on the company's own public website. We did not buy it, guess at your personal address, or take it from a social profile. We then checked with an email verification service whether the address accepts mail.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests. Our interest is running a business that helps suppliers reach newly formed companies, and the interest of a new company is generally served by being findable by accountants, insurers and suppliers, which is a large part of why the register is public in the first place. We assessed that balance in writing before starting, and the parts of it that limited what we do are described below.
Because it is legitimate interests and not consent, you have an absolute right to object, and if you do we stop. See below.
Companies House publishes directors' service addresses, and they are very often a home address. We do not include them in anything we sell by default, because a company's registered office already gives a buyer a business address and somebody's front door is a different thing.
We also withhold any email address we could not tie to the company it appears to belong to. Roughly half of addresses found on a website with a matching name turn out to belong to a different business of the same name, and we would rather sell fewer records than send someone to the wrong person.
We sell lists to businesses who want to contact newly formed companies: accountants, insurers, suppliers, banks and similar. Their terms restrict them to business contact and prohibit passing the list on.
We keep a record of every list we have sold and who received it. That record exists for one reason: so that if you ask to be removed, we can tell everyone who already holds your details.
We also use an email verification service to check whether an address accepts mail, and a payment processor when someone buys. Neither uses your data for anything of their own.
Company data is rebuilt each month from the current Companies House snapshot, so a company that leaves the register drops out. Contact details are refreshed or deleted rather than held indefinitely once they can no longer be verified.
